EXACTLY! She holds on to everything she gets, apparently my brother gave it to her when he was given it on a promotion where he worked in the 80's, it apparently was suppose to be a higher end Sharp cassette player, that eventually was decided not to go to full production. Her remote, battery charger and player are in Perfect condition, I've asked her to bequeath it to me in her will, but long live my mom. Thanks again, still would like to see if any history around or how rare this really is now. Aloha and Mahalo Mr. Fatdog!
