More Sanyo mics!!!

Found these on Ebay France for a low BIN, and they were boxed , would have bought them even if I didn't have the matching Sanyo mini.
I've tried them on a few of my other Sanyo minis, but as these clip on to the handle it would need to the same size, and they are all different. I wonder how many different sets Sanyo made, did they make them for many boxes or just a few?
I've never seen any that clip onto the handle like these.

Excellent score, those mics are very rare considering how many boxes they can be used on.
I like how these are a little more universal than the ones that require slots in the boxes, to bad they aren't adjustable for different size handles.
Is the foam still in good shape?

Yeah these were an amazing find! The mics, brackets and foams are all like new. These will only fit the M7700, unless there's another box with the exact same handle . I've tried all mine they are all different.

Oh, man! Those microphones are awesome. Here I was thinking that all Sanyo mics fit all boomboxes. I guess I was wrong.

Unfortunately that kind of sucks but at least you've got the 7700 to go with them.
I'll bet they would fit at least a few other Sanyo mini's, there are some very similar to the 7700.

Dude thats so cool catch. Love em. Congrats. I actually was thinking that most of the mics are commin in one pack together whit the boomboxes. Bought a high end reel to reel back in the 80s and got the mics included. Since i bought just kind of cheap boomboxes i ever thought the top end blasters are commin with mics too . Love the crazy look of this pair when stuck on place .

Just had a look through some Sanyo catalogues from 81 and 82 and some boxes came with two different model numbers for the same box! One with mics and carry strap and one without, I guess the ones without were a fair bit cheaper. That could explain why you don't see many mic sets or straps, if they were only sold with boxes and not separately.
