Mono.

For me, this avatar image (The Infamous) of Mobb Deep is the best Rap album of the 90th...

This albun Dope!!!

Most cats here don't know anything about that - probably TOO hardcore for 'em to listen to... Glad you recognized "The Infamous"!

1995 was probably one of the greatest years in Hip-Hop 'cause almost every album or single that came out was dope and still mostly original.
1996 came around and Bad Boy Records took over radio and television so from there on, everybody and their grandmother stole
Biggie's style and started talking more about bling and being big time drug dealers and whatnot, which was cool for
awhile but it got corny years later... Sadly, most of the the popular rappers that are out now are still
stuck on that style but can't match any of those 90's rappers lyrical skill level...
They're just ringtone rappers.

But yeah, "The Infamous" and Raekwon's "Only Built 4 Cuban Links" were the best albums out that year.

That mobb deep was thick and I agree with everything you said, however in 1995....my choice of the decade was ....dj q bert, dan the automator, dj shadow and kool keith as the infamous "Dr Octegon" it was a concept album that had more going on in it than just another hip hop album. It was a hospital full of this sexcrazed dr who had the sickest cuts, beats and lyrics on Mo'Wax.

And don't forget in 1995 "dj Shadow Entroducing" (Mo Wax)very iconic for history, yet it was hip hop without lyrics.
Mobb Deep Tho'....that east cost realness I could never live without....good choice

Still amazing albums!!!

But, if us talking... ...various in the 90th is amazing

Group Home - Living Proof
Gangstarr - Hard to Earn
GZA - Liquid Swords
All the Native Tongue (De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest...)
Pharcyde, The Roots.... ...the list is HUGE!!!!

Today, the ~audible~ Hip Hop music is tinny...
