Well I have been jonesing to get a ultra ultra rare Mars JH100 Mini compo system for years now,but I only know of a couple in existence in the whole world.
Well Peter "Blasterpunk" gave me a chance to get one so of course I had to have it.
It needs a little love especially in the swivel tweeters on top. But Peter has assured me that he has some spares he is going to find for me.
Of course this isn't really a boombox in the conventional sense that it doesn't take batteries, but even though it weighs about 50 pounds it it is still portable.
It is very loud and well built.
Thanks very much Peter for the Mars,it is great!

does it have a DC input jack ?
if so - then you can rig up a 12v or 15 v battery box -
to make it really portable

Wow I'm glad you finally got something you waited so long for. BTW, why are there so few left? Was it just a really low production unit?

Thanks Frontside.
Yes I just think there were not many of these made.
From what I understand the components were sold separately or in a whole unit like mine.
Aiwa sold a unit that was similar in design as well.

Yes I would but I think they got screwed up because they are just fastened to the main unit with magnets and they fall off quite easily.
I'm thinking that might be how they got damaged over the years......
Hopefully Peter can help me get it straightened out......
