ok -- and thanks for your gracious invitations 
lemme get to the 2 bottom lines first --
because this one is too good to wade thru my looooooooooooong story
1. fox studios paid me $600 just to watch her tease me (and 3 old friends) in her tiny bikini -- YES !!!!!
2. anyone remember her first ( i think)?? important movie --
" something about mary " ??
well -- in the REAL -- she IS that nice --and THAT charming--
and THAT friendly -- and THAT lovable --

about 5 years ago -- fox was looking for some off-beat semi-private beachfront location
to film a cameron flick called " in her shoes "
they did not want the huge distraction of the crowds and paparazzi -
that would go with the famous florida beaches like miami , fort lauderdale, daytona etc
in fact --my hick town --and my beach is the least crowded and least famous beach in the entire
400 mile east coast of florida
and - its a great surfer spot --as there are so few swimmers to endanger
and NO lifeguards and NO RULES !!!
plus -- they needed a big oceanfront clubhouse to film a beach party -- and to house all their
equipment and lunch and dressing rooms, etc
so BOINK !!!- ---we had one --

anyhow -- among a bunch a local extras --
they needed exactly 4 old fart // extra sleezy looking
characters --
to play shuffleboard --and play poolside cards
and to ACT 'all whacky' as soon as cameron strolled by in her
bikini --
(her character in that movie was a tease chick)
---as you might can guess -- she is absolutely gorgeous in person
and so wicked sexy -- than all 4 of us -- would have be most honored and
thrilled to stare at her --without the $600 --
i would have PAID $600 !!!

Damn Ira I know that movie, i'm going to have to watch it again. Can we see you in the movie or did they hide you from view?

she had her 70th birthday party in our clubhouse -
and invited ALL of us --
filet mignon and sea bass -- all we could eat - all afternoon

most surprising of the entire story --
was how warm and friendly cameron was to us 4 old
sleezes !! -- she even remembered our names --
her take was $$$22 million -
and she acted like a poor 'regular kid' extra-
and just to give us an extra 'kick' --
she put one hand on our 3 1/2 foot high railing--
and jumped it --cleared it by a foot -
IN HER SKIRT !!! -----
it was my first real movie experience --and the reason we were around
her ( and the set ) for so many days -- is that they re-shoot EVERYTHING
several times - plus we were standbys for other parts in case they needed
more extras -

in case any of you have a few spare hours -- rent the movie --
some of you will recognize my old straw hat in the shuffleboard scene
(about 1/2 way thru the movie)
and by ALL means -- see ALL the outtakes at the end of the flick-
watch how i compare my driving skills ( another part) to mario andretti !!!

that's a good movie. i have an unexplained respect for Shirley MacLaine and she isn't in that many films so i wanted to see it. i actually have it around here somewhere. i gotta dig it out so i can be like:redbenjoe said:
