Maximal 286 Restoring

hello im restoring my maximal boombox

for posterior sale.

i have to take the speaker grills out,

since one was rusted and dirty,

i sanded both and will paint tomorrow with matte black.

i finished them last night while watching a random movie : P

someday when we meet , well have a nice ' after boombox '

dinner and after that some fine fun with fritos, gummies, and all those alike !!!

1. The Maximal is an interesting box. LED's in the speakers and they look like they are three way speakers with two tweets.

yes ,

i have opened the speaker box as obvious,

and it has one tweeter and one mid range,

one of the side twits is a fake,

and again i will say, this box has a very very good sound, specially on the bass side,

tight and deep, and kind of elastic , very good.

not even the hitachi or the audiosonic have this kind of bass.

the speakers say: ' accoustic suspension speaker system '

and indeed it is good.

2- about the gummies i buy a lot of them , and eat from time to time, i enjoy them since i was a kid,

haribo indeed has some nice ones, coca colas, and bears !!! PP

we´'ll share some the next meeting : ) boombox gummies : P



3- haircut, probably thursday or friday, i will shave first so the diference wont strike me that much

this time it is a conscious hair cut, the last time i kinda did it because of other people ,

saying this and that , to which i did not pay attention this time.

i kinda missed it that time, but now, i will be ok : )))) i hope

indeed it is a lovely box.

quite loud,

nice bass,

and pretty.

the grilles are painted,

just removed to paint the back

and tomorrow lacquer finish.

almost done, just put an antenna and its ready for action.

and yes i shaved today.
