I'm a sucker for multi-packs of cassettes! And at $0.50 for a 2 pack of maxell UDXLII.......YES PLEASE!

Those were the predecessor to ubiquitous XL-IIS we came to know and love. Excellent find indeed! :thumbsup:

I TOTALLY bought the XL-II, but more importantly, the XLII-S tapes back in the day... I need to get my hands on a pack of those...

Yeah, those "S" types from the 80's are harder still to find in new condition. And they're getting expensive on eBay, soon they'll be the same price as the Teac Reels.

i know an ebay seller that if . . . they knew that someone was a member of Boomboxery . . . . that they
would try and cut a little slack on prices for Metal IV and Maxell XLII tapes etc.
