hi the transistors blew & i need these transistors it says for 8 watt

but speakers are 15 to 30w

la 4508 9j9 are orignal parts inside

one on ebay LA4508 3m2 does the last 3 digit number matter

I belive 9j9 is the date code of the device in question.

Speaker wattage (power handling) has no relation to the IC itself.

• The wattage printed on speaker drivers is only a measure of power handling (input power)
• The 8W output is the chips output on the test circuit

As an example, you could use 100W speakers (rated input) and there is no change to the amp circuit or output (SPL) providing the same impedance and speaker sensitivity is maintained.
