Another one of those size-perspective things here.....

The small marantz is one of my favorites. But who knew that it's really dwarfed by that Fort Knox thingey.
Even have sort of a similar look to it from the topside. With the meters and dial.

Floyd It IS a friggen TANK, and if that center panel was acrylic, wouldn't it remind you a little of the VZ? Would you doomer it? :grim: :grim:

oh i'm sure this box was around before the vz 2000 prolly was modeled after it or just the basic layout was used in the vz 2000 . i'm also sure that box is a lot nicer than any other turntable box i ever saw , the controls are just sick and easily rival those found on the studio 1and other high end boxes .

as for if i would mod that box hell no .
