House is sold and my little family has gone renting for a while but that doesnt mean a guy cant have his own space downstairs.haha.

I wish but it seems things are drying up for new finds and what is avilable is getting scooped up and for higher prices.
although I see NZboom picked up a nice CROWN on our TRADE ME the other day.

Well, as a new collector I have to say the last few months has been really exciting to watch. The prices have been coming down month by month. :yes: :yes: for everything except the grails, and even some of those.

For instance, recently a 9998 went for just 300$


A fisher 492 was 99$ :w00t:

Well the dream would be to buy this place but i suspect the landlords wouldnt part with it for any bargain anytime soon haha

I used to have a man cave... before my daughter came along. :-/ But you know what? I'd take her over everything else I own. :yes: :thumbsup: :smooch:

That spotlight so close to the Sharp makes me nervous. :'-( That's a meltin' just waiting to happen.

Thanks master z I must say that I have concentrated a bit more towards vintage home audio of late.
Glad to finally have a SANSUI 800 something I have wanted for a while. And the JBL,s really thump.

I hear ya on the daughter front :yes: However there just happened to be this horrible large boring space in this rental downstairs that happened to have an old guncabinet with light in it....
So it is a bit of cake and eat it to :-/
