At least the effects appear to be top-notch and not some crap SyFy Channel quality.

I find it ironic that the background music is "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," because Millie Bobbie Brown is almost a spitting image of a young Judy Garland.

OK, I'm a big fan of the classic Godzilla films. The first 2 especially. And if you have never seen the ORIGINAL Japanese version, 1954 Godzilla, then I highly recommend it. BTW, I am not referring to the 1956 "Godzilla, King of the Monsters" staring Raymond Burr. That was the American release and was completely re-edited with many new scenes and the entire plot changed. This change removed the importance of the American nuclear testing that caused the mutation that created the monster.

This new version of the monster looks better than the lizard in the Mathew Brodrick movie, but he still looks a little "Thick". Fingers crossed and hoping for the best!
