Picked this up at the local Salvation Army for $5. Not quite and egg, I was instantly attracted to the sleek design and the shiny black color. It's like someone took a sparkly black spray paint to the thing, it's so clean and shiny.
Tried the CD player and thankfully it works perfectly. The cassette works also and the sound is quite nice and loud. Has a 5 band EQ, runs on 8 D cells, has line in and out in the back. I like the round carry handle. Sticker at the bottom says it was manufactured in December of 1986!!

I even like the back. Interesting desing, the line in and out are in a concave area.

, no wonder it was gone when i went back for it, its still to this day the best box ive seen at fleas round here.
I am not snooty like some memmbers here who dimisss these unique units.
