Somebody probably offered him/her silly money for it and did a direct sale outside EBay.

It's a pity these grails are now completely out if reach for the limited budget crowd (me).

Would have received an offer he couldn't refuse, the box looked to be in good condition. wonder what he got for it, the last one I saw on ebay.au went for around $900, wasn't in as good a condition, I also wonder if it was Nikamichi who brought it

I don't think it was a scam (100% feedback and over 200 sales)
