Niiiiiiiice.

I have always wondered with a boombox........

What would the speaker grilles look like if they were chromed?

Any box.....not just this one.

With the grilles so shiny, would you still be able to see the speaker behind, or just yourself staring back?

Someone.......restore a box, and get the grilles chromed.

It would be real interesting to see what a big Sharp GF would look like!

You know........767 / 777 / 909 / 919. etc........

Imagine those with chrome grilles!

How did you paint the grills without getting paint on the baffle behind it? mask them off?
Let me know, its something i've been wanting to do.
Thanks,
Paul Z.

...I used a sponge roller, and layed on the ground with the box above me...also I rolled it very slowly so there would be no splatter..

Here's a trick that I have used once in the past with AWESOME results. It may sound shabby but it works...

NOTE: This works when your grills are in good physical shape and just need a touching up. If they are rusty, crusty or musty give them the full treatment.

Grab one of these and go to town.

It holds up really well and gives you a nice finish between satin and gloss.
