Has anyone ever took a radio to a hardware paint supplier to see if their color match system would work?

Roll/ brush latex paint on your boombox..?
Try an auto parts store or body shop first..

Acrylic would be what I'd look for. Ah about parts store. I wonder if the have the color match machine as well?

The parts store around here can color match and put it in a spray can for ya..

Most autobody paint & supply store can color match paint & custom mix spray bombs for you....

Awesome! I only need the smallest they would offer. Perhaps a ounce if that. But then again, I'll likely have them color match the face and cabinet. Best to have touch up on hand if ever needed.

I didn't know car shops did that, and put it in a rattle can. I'll have to make some enquires at my local auto store.

Halfords will match colours, all you need is the RAL code from the chart that's available all over the web, or an original car factory equivalent to the RAL number..
