Was last weekend on a indoor flea.
This one is powered by vienna authority.

Found only a TOSHIBA as partspender.

Walking in the back area where are the furniture and other things are stored.
In one corner there is a little wall and many old bicycles behind.
Whoaaaa, what´s that.
A old High riser!

For sure worth to save.
Also look at the antique pre-war bike behind!

Going to the boss of the flea, asking how much.

But he told me, those bikes are from bicycle room cleanings in the city.
They are not for sale!
All are going on the SCRAP!
No possibility to get them.. :'-(

Such idiots...

The only thing i found outside, next to the trash container:
An old children´s scooter.
Must be of the 60´s or older.
Very rare.

But i want the bike...

There are railings in front of them.
Took the photos through a hole.
It´s a crazy law here, such things from cleanings are not allowed for selling or so.
They MUST get destroyed.

yep i would have taken that old muscle bike home no matter what. i mean its too good to pass up and really looks like it needs cleaning recabling and greasing to be back up to snuff.
pretty cool.

holy crap that dutch city bike in the back ground with the rod brakes would go for two or three hundred bucks in unrestored shape here in vancouver.
i mean i dont get it. what passes for recyling today is really just a means to provide cheap raw materials to countries that mass produce items that seldolmly last for more than a year or two now.

well there's 400,000 or so acres in the family, but it's very remote, arid/semi arid land, that has trouble supporting a few kangaroos in bad times, and in good times they run sheep and cattle.
