Picked this up last week on Craigslist for $40.00, it will definitely need some work, but for the price I couldnt turn it down. Supposed to be fully working, we'll see. This thing is bigger than I thought. Something sounds loose indside I think its the transformer, will post more when I get her open.

Just pull They should come off easily

Whats really crazy is that I didnt even know it was the emerald green Rising until after I had already bought. I found one of the threads in here where someone had posted a bunch of pics of the different variations. I went back to the ad and really checked the pic, (it was a horrible pic) and could just barely tell that it had the green on the front!

Ahhh...pull STRONG! You cannot break anything . These are heavy duty keys

Well, all in all, not too bad. The small power supply board just moved out of place, the noise was the speaker moving, mounts were busted, 2 case mounts broken.

The cassette keys do have some black "gunk" in them to help them stay on, but like Max said, just keep pulling on them and they will come off.

Very nice catch! That is a real rarity.

Thanks for all the compliments. The more I look at this box, the more I like it. Here is what I am looking for to complete the box. If anyone has any parts shoot me a pm. Found out the antennas are too long to lay the handle back, not OEM antennas. Need a battery door. Need a Record Button. I almost need the whole back case unless I can fix this hole with a patch from another box. I dont know what they were thinking.
