Lost my best Radio Friend!

It was a sad day for me to hear about my good radio friend's death. :sad: :sad: :sad:
I am heartbroken!
He died of liver disease.

He is an Englishman, a retired Engineer from Philips England, who used to help me a lot with my tube radio and all electronics hobbies.

Gary was a wonderful human being, an amazing individual and a gentleman with lots of good qualities.

I am heartbroken to hear about your death Gary!

Now I cannot get near all the radios that you helped me to fix and the detailed instructions and tools you mailed to me for free.
1000s of jokes, e-mails, pictures of your vacations and all you send me suddently turned as memories of a good friend. :sad: :sad:
I don't know how I would overcome this loss. :sadno:

It is so hard to hold back tears. :sad: :sad:

God bless your soul my great friend! Hope one day we can meet on that beautiful shore!

I will miss him so badly! This is a person with whom I interacted a lot! :sad: :sad: :sad:

It is so hard to believe he passed away. :sadno: :sadno:

Went to church and now listening to Moody Radio all day long.

He always made sure to send me items in return for any favor I did for him. The last parcel I recieved was Akai metal reels that I really loved to have. He wrote ' Royce please accept it as a gift from me! I always saved the box labels with his handwriting on it. :sad:

Thank you GZ, Scott, Strānj-Bōōmbŏks and all for the kind words. Losing a radio friend is so much pain when you are in that hobby. One feels like he is completely lost without him.

You have some great memories though of who by all accounts was a special individual.

Very sad to hear about this Royce! I feel for you,I know how hard it
Is to lose friends close and a far. :sad:
Be thankful for the good times and memories of the correspondences
with him.
Listen to a peaceful Boombox and try to sooth your pain. :sad:

Thanks Freddie, Jeff and all. Gary is a friend with whom I interacted for so many years. I never thought he would pass away suddenly like that. It hurts.... Hurts a lot :sad: :sad: :sad:
