Lost in time - Vinix clock stopped working

Hi everyone!

I just saw that the clock on my Vinix stopped working. Big OH NO!
I used it as alarm clock frequently .
I looked into the battery compartment but there is no place for a new battery...how do I get it back to life???? HELP! :'-(

I would hazard a guess that there is a battery internally then if it isn't in the main battery compartment. Open it up
