LONG WAIT IS OVER!!!

My EA900 (GF909) arrived today!!
Unfortunately, it did not arrive unscathed but nothing a little supa glu won't fix.
A quick polarity change on my lap top power supply and she fired up!!
A little down on the right channel but even when I balance that out.......
DAMN ITS LOUD!!!
Anyway, see for yourselves....

Ãfter I removed the power cable that was wedged between the front and rear case!!

Toyota....(Damn not Landrover....but pommie electrics probable dead by now anyway).

That packing job is definitely less than sufficient, but luckily there was no serious damage. That Toyota is definitely a rare one. Congratulations!

Well, missus is already pissed :annoyed: as she doesn't understand that music is to be played loud and I've been kranking this baby for the last 2 hours......lean in close to your screen and you just might hear it....
Will turn it down and give her some attention as she is my link the these beauties!
I'm sooo taking this to work with me tomorrow!!!

The balance problem might be because of a dirty pot. Once you give it a good cleaning it should be good to go.

Yeah, got the de-oxit ready to go plus the xtra long driver to ge tthe case off.
Busy this week and Defender 90 needs to be put back together but once done my workbench is swapping to electronics tech mode for some BBX R & R!!

Stocktaking atwork today so good opportunity to crank her up. Need to clean the pots to get right speaker ampin so I can take her to the limit!
Got some surprised looks when my coworkers saw that you could plug in an iPod .got some dropped jaws when they found out just how much you have to pay to get a piece of 80's tech!
My EA900 was older than 50% of the kids at work!!!!
