Hello guys, sorry haven't been active on boomboxery for months now. Have had a really bad 7 months. Wife and I are divorcing(not because of boomboxes), so I've had my mind in other areas of life besides boomboxes. I was just buying myself an old set of speakers from a guy in the local classifieds. To make myself feel better. Mentioned to him I'm into "boomboxes", he's like, I have an old "Double Cassette" boombox. He took me to his basement showed me this:) 100bucks. And everything works. Hopefully I'll try to be more active in the forums. Missed you guys:)

Thanks for the encourgement guys. And yes, I know things will get better:) It's just tough right now. She visited me last weekend to say our "goodbyes" face to face, and it's like everything came back. No worries, I'm looking forward to starting someting new. Like "Strānj-Bōōmbŏks" did:)

The Sharp sounds amazing, and loud as hell. I was standing about 6 feet away from it while blasting it, and I could feel the bass go through me:)

divorce sucks :thumbsdown: but after divorce is much better :-D :thumbsup: :thumbsup: for me it went from worst in my life to so excellent i couldn't believe it. :yes:

and the box is really nice!

Sorry about the divorce but UE is right, time has a way of healing the wounds. Great story about the Sharp, hope that really did help to lift your spirits. :thumbsup:
