London boombox owners

I got an email today off the guy who manages the band I play in. With this request :

Hello man

I need a big, cool, LOUD cassette beatbox for TUESDAY 10 NOVEMBER for an Xfm Session for Bertie Blackman.
Got £30 in cash to cover the rental

The stereo will be used to play a cassette for three songs at a John Kennedy session in the evening. Ideally, it would be available all day so Bertie can rehearse with it, understand the volume etc.

I will be totally responsible for it's well being.

Let me know where it is and we can arrange collection and drop off if required

I don't know if anyone out there can help, I would but I am in london now and away for the next 2 weeks and all my boxes are at home 220 miles away ! He's a nice guy and good for his word. The artist is basically gonna do a live vocal over the boombox playing a tape of the instrumental of the song. Both box and person will be mic'd.

damn ben, that sounds cool. too bad i'm not out there. i'd help you out. but you're like the biggest boombox collector in the u.k. if you can't do it, the only other guy i can think of is jeff. and i haven't heard from him in a minute. have you? i'm getting worried about that guy.
