Yesterday while waiting at an appointment, I decided to search Craigslist to kill some time while I waited. I was'nt really expecting to find anything, and THEN, I came across this...2016-02-10 10.02.19.png



It had been posted for 7 hours when I seen it, so I figured it was long gone, but I decided to call the number anyways, and to my surprise he still had it! We set up to meet in a few hours after he got off of work, and he was only 30 minutes away. (I made it in 20) So we met up, I tested it out and I sealed the deal FAST. Its dusty and needs a good cleaning and deoxit, needs new belts, one antenna is slightly bent, and it has one cracked foot in the rear. I was shocked to see the cassette storage tray was still there. The radio works, Line In works, tuner light works and so do the led's. The alarm still works as well! More pictures to come when I have time to give it a proper cleaning. Cheers!

Nice score dude!!!

I had a chance at a Conion a couple years ago. $60, dirty, had a burn in the top. Emailed him, said he still had it, live 20 mins away. When I emailed him back to get his number, he never responded.... I'm not the biggest c100 fan, i like them, but an M90 and 5350 is ahead on my list. But I would have bought it for $60 bucks!!!

Hahaha. It's hard not be jealous sometimes huh? But it's what keeps me thinking there's still scores to be found.

Thanks everybody! :thumbsup: I wanted to seal the deal so fast that I didnt even haggle over price or try to talk him down like I usually do. He was all trying to tell me a little bit about the radio and I just pulled out the cash and counted it out for him asap! And he was happy with it!

Trust me Bill, this kind of deal has never came my way either. I joke with Howie about me being the "king of high retail" due to some of my past purchases, this was by far THE BEST deal I've personally come across. ( so far ;-) ) They're out there people, I just got lucky this time :angelic:
