He spotted this one on gumtree (like craigslist but not as popular). I called up to ask about it and asked her to test all the functions. "Sure" she said, "I'll get back to you in a couple of days". A couple of days passed then she called only to tell me that the tape makes a really loud humming noise so you can hardly hear the music
. "So, I'll sell it for half price" 
I think I can fix this bad boy................Record. Stop. Record. Stop. Record. Stop. BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 seconds later the tape sounds great!!!!!!
She needs a good clean but should come up really nice.........
