Hi,don't know if there has been a post for this before but here it is:
Show us your GE Super Radios!!
Mine is a 7-2880A
AM-FM Long Range High Sensitivity with a 200MM AM Ferrite rod antenna with separate bass and treble with AFC.
This radio pounds for its size and man does it pull in stations!
Great at low volume with decent bass for a mono.
I know there are several variations of the Super Radio so let's see them!!!:)

What distinguishes a regular GE from a 'Super GE'?
Hi Joe,from what I understand they have super high sensitivity tuners with long range and special large Ferrite AM antennas.
Plus they put out decent sound and are quite powerful.
I'm looking forward to seeing others.
Hope this helps. :)

When it sits on a burner over a cooking range! :-D
I just spit beer through my nose when I read that!

A hand full of years ago there was a short thread talking about Super Tuner Radio's, which at the time, I didn't pay much attention too. However, since I live up a long corridor straight in from the ocean, it's tough to get a strong signal on any worth while stations.

Hi Ira, not sure any came with cassette decks but I might be wrong.
There are a few variations from what I remember..
They are kind of cool! :)
Hope you find one Ira,the only bummer,no dial light.
