Congratulations, Roman! Did your new Roller come from a flea market? It's great! (I've never seen grey one with yellow trim before.) Now both of us have a yellow Roller1 in our collection!

The black fake-Roller is fascinating! International copied, not just the shape of the boombox, but the knobs and buttons, too. I wonder what Philips designers thought of such an imitation!

I'm still trying to build a good collection of Rollers on this side of the Atlantic, but it's very hard, because, as you know, not many Rollers were sold in the USA. But I'll keep trying, and I'll post a photo when my Roller family is bigger. Philips has always been a favorite brand of mine. It's nice to know someone else who loves Philips, too!

I did have a few of these in the shed but most are gone now. I still have a yellow one there and i think another one.
I see them fairly often at the flea markets here in OZ and always pass on them now.
Would be happy to send any on but of course the problem is the postage cost would far outway the value of these
Rollers :sadno:

Always LOVED those Rollers. I remember when they came out; I always thought they were a great spin on the original classic boombox design.

They're a classic in their own right. Can't wait to get a yellow/grey one of my own.

Good luck scoring more Roman!

Rock On.
