last day of the olympic torch

so this is the last day of the olympic torch in vancouver. i was dragged along by the better half and her friend from bulgaria to snap some photos of the torch for them .
i am not a big fan of the ioc but the torch was pretty neat to see in van.

this olympics was different this time. the paralympics was held right after the olympics. it used the same buildings and the torch was also used.
the whole olympic thing was crazy i avoided downtown like the plague . i mean people were lining up to see this torch for eight hours at one point.
today it took all of about three minutes to get up and shoot a picture of it.
honestly i am glad its finally over and done with.
hats of to the athletes and good on those who enjoyed it.
i just hope the cost was worth it in the long run. i mean it cost a massive ammount of money.
