Here are yesterday's purchases from a great friend and fellow BoomBoxery member 'JLF'. The Lasonic TRC-931, was the High School radio I had and lost when I joined the ARMY (My Pop Sold it  ). Now, I have the same Second edition 931 only, this is VERY minty. I'll be repainting the grills on both boxes soon. :-) I'm now a proud member of the SuperJumbo club as well. This too is complete, damage free and fully working. I need to Spray some DeOxite on the Volume slider contacts. This Monster is nearly the same size as my Wheely and Super loud too. The Red LED lights are way cool. Thanks Jeff! :smooch: Here are some eye candy pics for the family.

Very cool Adam  they both look fresh  Did you take grills out of Lasonic?
JLF took them out during a clean up. He liked to watch those lovely White woofers dance t the music and didn't put them back on. I'm going to repaint the Grills but wait to pu them back on as well. I like watching them too :-D Need to order some stickers for it too

The downfall to not having grills is damage occurring to speakers  I think a members just had an issue with the TDK's speaker being damaged because of no grills :grim: Anything can happen ;-)

Ha! I haven't seen a TRC-931 without the grills since I rocked mine like that way back in 1988.

I'm thinking I will. :-D Cool pic Mono. You were so skinny (As was I). :w00t:

Thanks, FUZZ!

You know how that goes, getting older and whatnot...

I think I weighed about 130-135 pounds back then. Now I weigh almost 230. Ha!

Hey, have you noticed that despite the MUCH larger size of the Super Jumbo, the bass isn't as deep as those Lasonic models?
