Lasonic trc918

[Lost&Found]

Came across this in the photos of an upcoming estate sale. What's the collective take on this box? Trying to decide if I want to check it out or not. My other Lasonic box (TRC 931) is pretty hard to work on, but this one looks like a different style so maybe the guts are better? The 918 seems a bit smaller though I don't see any dimensions online, based on the ratio of the tape door to the rest of the box it seems at least a little smaller than my Realistic SRC8. While dirty it doesn't look terribly beat up. All the knobs/buttons seem to be there. It looks like at least one of the antennas are broken.

Thoughts?

It's smaller than the 931 because it has 6" woofers instead of 8". But it's a higher quality box.

The Lasonic TRC 918 is modeled after the Sanyo M 9994. I have the Larsen version, with needle VUs instead of the leds (as in the Lasonic TRC 915, which is basically a Sanyo M 9990). It's a lovely boombox

These are a great sounding boombox the power these have is impressive .also built like a tank..
