LASONIC TRC 931 GHETTOBLASTER FUNCTION SELECTOR GEAR BOX ON CIRCUIT BOARD
The shaft goes into this metal box on the board and has a plastic gear on it. The gear broke. Any suggestions?

well all i have heard of is just finding the funtion switch and replacing it ,, i belive whatever company was used to make the switch was not a good one as it breaks very often on other lasonics to like the 920 i have then the real pain is trying to get that switch which is not made anymore :annoyed: so really you will have to hunt down a parts box or if someone has it for sale then jump on it quick

Yeah,
If thats the case then I may just sell mine. Its stuck on tape function but works fine. Id rather get $200 - $400 for it rather than put $100 or more into it.
