Lasonic I 931 x

Anyone have one of these that can shed some light???
Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on the web for this model.
When did they come out and why aren't they even advertised on Lasonics website???
I was thinking about one for Christmas and was hoping to get some sort of review
on its functionality and incorporation of the new dual position ipod dock that now supports
Ipod touch.
Are these essentially the i931 with a new style dock?

I just got mine and I really like the fact that the door is open so you can actually change songs and answer the phone while music is playing The downfall is they still did not change anything with the clock, meaning having a 12 hr clock as opposed to army time and xtra battery for time memory I also noticed you do not get the xtra cord for input and the Iphone dock is real tight and when you put the phone in it asks if you want to shut the phone down because the top button on phone touches inside deck Hope this helps

Lasonic is a joke as a company. I bitched them out at their facebook page over the i931x about a month back. It's all over ebay and they have people constantly inquiring about it and they say nothing. What a waste.

well i belive we want to know about sound wise really hows it sound compared lets say to any other box in that class

The sound is comparable to the original I931. The only difference between them is colors are brighter and the iPod deck is made to fit IPhone/Itouch

I have already seen that .
It seems Lasonic is going through a bit of restructuring lately possibly due to the economy.
What confuses me is that this is a fairly new release yet there is no info or sales info on they're website.
I guess if i want one its off to Amazon or slease bay.
Its good to hear that it compares sound wise to the original 931!!!
I have ipod touch and was hoping that the connectivity and fit is good.

If it sounded like the TRC-931 I'd definitely own one by now!!!!!

the fact that u can access the ipod while it is in the box makes it seem much more convenient than its predecessor...

but at the same time, this new design would offer less protection for your device if you plan on using this box for the beach or in any other harsh conditions... which is what i use my i931 for... :jason:

Yes I said the original i931 for iPod alone. The sound does not by any means compare to the trc931

Typical I just replaced my ipod with a classic just so it would fit into my i931. Bugger :annoyed: :annoyed: :annoyed:
