A lot of the soundtrack to Kung Fury is performed by rockers I've been promoting on www.synthetix.fm for the last few years. This short film is the first time 80s inspired synth music has been featured in a mainstream product outside of videogames, not sure if it'll make a difference in the amount of people getting into it or not but it's a great little bit of 80s cheesploitation.

But it is highly disappointing that the TRK-8610 is the only boombox used (in completely unrelated scenes) and is never actually turned on. Still, at least they're trying.

Saw it on El-Rey Network (favorite channel)...Cracked up throughout the whole thing.

Funny part was where the boomer was tossed cause it wouldn't play and they dude yells "Piece of $hit!!!" :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
