was pounding my monitor audio rx8 speakers on my new pioneer amp (shown in another thread with my usual 2 graphic equ's (it was actually on flat out lol (stupid me) no distortion though and what happened next???

I only damn well blew the tweeters lol.....anyway the price for new tweeters now installed was a whopping £170 lol

Damn most people don't spend £170 on speakers in there life never mind tweeters lol

I had to repair them, damn these are the best speakers im ever likely to own in my life

anyway keep the volume down guys (note to myself) crazy shiat

If i had a pound for every speaker id'e blown id'e be rich lol....been using the system with my new marantz eq and it's great. just as good as any mosfet amp if not a warmer sound.....blowing £170 tweeters self installed is a bit on the pricey side though lads

try plugging a big speaker into the mains lads, sounds like a shotgun going off, funny as fark

i was using 2k worth of headphones on mine Floyd lad and honestly they were farting in distress lol, i gave them away as my best mate gave me an 8 grand pc for free, i had to give him something in return lol

I used to have a technics car stereo I bought at circuit city's year end sell off . it was a pretty high end unit but I ended up giving it to a friend , I ****ed up lol.

I always liked the sound of a good silk dome tweeter, metal dome tweeters sound great but the get too raspy at high volume. I think the good silk dome tweeters are about as good as it gets aside from a metal compression horn.

I wish you could hear an original kicker competition subwoofer , the most precise bass you can imagine. Its leaps and bounds beyond the junk they make now.
