Just checked the capstan belt in my JVC TD-V1050. It measured 115mm (half length), i.e. 9 inches, and is 5 mm wide and 0.4 mm thick. Still working fine, no W&F issues, but thought I'd record the measurements to know which belt / part number might be the closest replacement - so far it seems that FRSP8.97 would probably match pretty closely and work decently. Just thought I'd share this in case anyone is looking for the belt measurements and can't find any info - I often run into this issue with my cassette stereos.
