Reworked the deck, azimuth was off when reversing direction. Muffled. When you press play, ff or rew you hear 5 or 6 clicks until it engages. The playback head flips around a few times and is somewhat clunky . Managed to adjust the azimuth. There are 2 adjustment screws - not like when you adjust a head that is statically positioned on one side, and the screw you turn is usually over a slotted guide with a spring underneath. There are no springs on the head on this one. The adjustment screws run through a plastic housing . When the head spins, there is a lever on one side. When it flips around , it looks to the depth of the set screw . Adjusting the screw while the front door is off and pressing in on the cassette as it`s playing works best.
