JVC RC-S22 - tuning string help

Hi all, does anyone own an JVC RC-S22 and would fancy uploading a photo of how the tuning string is attached to the white cog on this image, it's not clear enough to see and I'm having issues with mine?

I haven't seen this boombox before and I can't help you, but it looks very interesting.

There's a service manual for this boombox on eBay . it's not exactly cheap though.

If you look on page 14 (link) and zoom way in you can see the pulleys and string path
