I have this awesome boombox. I'm sure many know of it's legendary status. Not much for restoration frankly because it looks like it was just unboxed.
Anyways, I am working on it with an issue I can't seem to figure out. I disassembled it to replace a belt for the tape deck and upgraded to an LED on the tuner display which seems like many of you seem to do.
I got it all back together and I tried to play a tape and I am right back to square one. I can feel and hear the motor like it's trying to spin. But it doesn't.
At first I thought the motor was spinning when I disassembled it. But I was tired and maybe hoped that it was just the belt that needed replaced.
Has anyone else had this issue?
