Last week, for Easter, we went to the house of my girlfriend's mother, at 500 kms from home (SW of France).
And the day we were coming back home, there was a big carboot sale in the next village... Having just one hour, I was looking quickly at everything, and just before lefting, my gf showed me a very dirty box I didn't even noticed. The (funny) guy told me it was perfectly working (radio and tape), but while shaking it I heard something rolling inside. And it was really very-very dirty... Quite certain it was dead, I negociated it for only 5€ !!!
Arrived at home, I plugged it, and heard big scratching noise on radio, only on one side. I simply put some (well, a lot in fact) deoxit on all the sliders and switches), and finally it worked well. And the tape is working not too badly too
, belts seems to be still alive. All buttons are present, just the 2 antennas are broken.
I will open it later, and wash it a lot too !!!
