:drool: holly crap got this from the sally's today and its one clean machine.only running on one channel at the moment :-/ so cant tell you how it sounds yet

Its one of the "fully working" in my collection.

Great sound machine (not deeper bass, but the bass is there) a little pain to disassemble and GREATEST FM signal in my collection so far!!!

thanks guys and all fixed was a dry joint on the headphone line .and the sound is very good i must say :thumbsup:

That box looks pretty mint. Looks like the nz thrift shops are the new hallowed ground for mint in the wild blaster finds

Really? :hmmm: What boxes are you comparing it to?

I have an 838, and it sounds like dick compared to every other midsize I own.

Granted, part of that could be because its bass and treble sliders don't work, but everything else is mint.........And even if they DID work,. I really doubt this box could generate decent bass. The speakers just don't seem cut out for it. They start distorting at only 4 clicks of the volume slider. We're talking 1978 here.
