JVC RC-636 handle suits JVC-RC-550 ?

I was wondering if anyone has both units if a comparison can be made?

I dont know what a 636 is, but i took a handle from an 828 and made it work on my 550.. Had to slice an inch off it and modify the hinge brackets..

A JVC RC-636 is this box pictured below .
How did you modify the hinges Justcruisin?
