I was thinking of bombing JVC customer service,PR dept, with emails asking them if they would consider making a re-issue of the JVC M90.. I bet it would cost well over $500 retail.

I love the Kaboom too. I've owned several over the past few years.. I had the blue limited edition and loved it.

Cheers,

The Kaboom is great when plugged in but it eats batteries VERY quickly!! Definitely love the bass though...by comparison my M90 seems to last forever on batteries and it is almost as loud on batteries as it is when plugged in. The Kaboom's performance is greatly decreased when on battery power...but I love 'em both... :-D

I used to put a small 24 pound lawnmower battery with a 200 watt power inverter in a plastic boating tackle boat and hook my kaboom to that it would run for 20 hours. sadly I just sold my last kaboom and built a stereo cooler with a 500 watt Arc audio amp and Alpine head unit. here's a picture. now this sucker is heavy weighs 64 pounds. It will be our outside/beach radio the M70 will be our inside/porch radio.
