JVC Boomer evaluation

Hello there, long time hi-fi guy but with an appreciation for the funkitude of the boombox world.

i've got a JVC PC-5 here in super condition. Everything is original on it. I can photo if that helps but just consider it a 9/10. I've seen values for this model all over the place. Any idea? TIA

Yes its the bomb you can run big speakers off it too. Hard to sell as it's heavy, it worth what some is willing to pay.

Even if it's 100% original the woofer Foams may need to be addressed almost always original foams are rotted on these or close to going bad.
If you want to know what these are worth see what people are paying for these in that condition it's a close indicator but not the rule.

I just acquired one in the original box (and the separate boxes and styrofoams inside too), extremely good condition, needs the usual speaker refoaming, and some tape deck restoration, both of which I plan to fix

Foams are still intact and functional. There isn't much of a reference out there for what people buy these for. I'd originally bought it for the shortwave capability.
