Hi all. I’ve been searching eBay for a year for a handle for my prized JVC 550. I bought a strap (I believe from blu fuz) which has been great. Since moving to Florida I’ve been taking my JVC 550 out a lot to the beach; etc and it’s time for a proper handle. Let me know! I’ve done some research to see if another handle is compatible with no luck!

Honestly, if you really want to fix it up, you are better off buying a junk one, cannibalize the handle, and sell the rest for parts. These high in demand models are hard to find anymore, and are getting harder to find all the time. There's some stuff I've been waiting for, for over 10 years and I have noticed the prevalence of the offerings shrinking year by year. I've really just given up on most. Japanese sellers have just discovered eBay and therefore, there are many offerings now being sold by Japanese sellers. But make no mistake, as they sell those off, even those will be hard to find in the future.
Thanks superduper. I should’ve bought a junk one 5 years ago. But like you say it’s only going to get more expensive / rare, so why wait. I’ll be on the lookout. It could be handy for future parts or to offer up to those looking.
