There was one in better shape a few months ago but I lost on the bidding.

It certainly looks minty fresh. :yes: Even though the antennas are not original, they do go well with the cassette door cling. Nice score. :cool:

Thanks for noticing the antennas, I didnt know that they are not original. This will be my first jvc70/80/90 type radio. :-)

Thanks! The m70 is on my list but pricing Is beyond my reach now.

I've always liked thes boxes but never had one, Been outbid all the times i tried on the bay.

I'm not sure if sound wise its on the same level as the 70 or 90, but on technology it was the front runner. Its fugly in a futuristic funk kind of way, so that makes it cool in my book. :-D

:lol: My significant other wasnt too impressed with the looks either, she asked if I could grill on it. :huh: :thumbsdown:

I wonder If the speakers have chrome centers. If so, maybe I can shine a little light on them by replacing the grill covers without permenently modifying the box. (I'll make sure I can go back to original fugly). Rimmer would know the answer to that.
