So basically I thought I had collected all the grails I had ever wanted as a kid. I was truly happy. Then I saw this in my local classifieds. I couldn't resist. The Sanyo MX960K. $200cdn. Not bad. Sounds great, needs a good internal cleaning.

I too would not have passed on that boomer. Grail or not, it would be in my collection. Nice buy!

I've got to much competition now in my neighboring San Francisco, I can't beat the members to the good deals there any more. :'-(
It's okay though, I'd rather see them go to one of us than some unknown hoarder.

I still have my city which is keeping me busy enough between the Thrifts and Craigslist.

Thats one I've been wanting as I've heard you can dial in some pretty vicious highs. Super looking box.I'm glad you found it!

Well done Peter, a very deserving radio to be in your collection!

LOVE the BigBen. It can be an M90 killer on some style of music, and as Jovie says it's got some terrifying treble!

The deck's are a bit of pain to work on and have their own kind of motor that isn't easy to replace (down here anyway).

Great to see another classic find it's way to a loving home.

Rock On.
