Just noticed this..

About a year ago I noticed the tape counter on my Panasonic RX-C45 was on this number..I had been playing my Prince "Diamonds and Pearls" tape.. It wasnt until tonight when I was playing my Bone Thugs-n-Harmony cassette that I realized it wasn't counting at all! Do I reset it or leave as is..?

Haha. Maybe it's dialing in an emergency for a new belt.

Hard to say. My thought is... if the counter isn't working, leave it, if you fix it then either.

The next question should be, if you reset it and then it stays at 000 or counts up to 666 then gets stuck again what do you do...lol
