Hey guys, I’m brand new to this site, so excited to have found it! i grew up in Miami in the ‘80s, so much of this site is what i grew up with, very nostalgic. Any advice, articles, videos for cleaning and diagnosing issues with boomboxes? I have a few boomboxes and aside from basic cleaning, deoxy on control knobs to reduce static, I’m still very much a novice and restoration.

Welcome Oldschoolfool. Plenty of guys on here have done some awesome restorations so I'm sure you'll get help.
(I'm a new box collector myself and am really happy I found this forum too).

By the way, one of my all time favourite shows is Miami Vice.
