I found this LXI series that I believe was put out by Sears.
It's got some cheapy qualities to it like the all plastic handle with no screws.
Cheap tweeters.
Cheap radio dial
Grills that don't remove
But it makes up for it in a high quality graphic equalizer, and good speakers with thick magnets

And it actually sounds pretty darn good and loud.
Just enough Boombox to keep me from whining for about a month.

Some of the chintzier boxes are some of the most charming.

I really like the outside speaker box edge. Clever design that!

Thanx guys. It needed some love.
It's kinda cool to swing a semi cheapy around cranking some funk.
I would call it a high-end cheapy or a cheapy grail.
It really cranks and sounds good and I'm not gonna freak if I knock it against a door frame by accident.
