yea on the hole this one performs much better than the others i have had so im a happy bunny

does it sound like a 9494 or a 9696 or a 575 (is my guess)

hard to say redbanjo i wouldnt buy any of the others and i have had a couple of gf9000 and they sounded terrible so i guess i have struck lucky with this one but again i have only used it for 5 mins and it was hard to tell as im at sombodys house and they had the kaboom on booming away but one thing is for sure i like the treble on this gf9000, i wont be able to test it till i go home

Tim, I am also curious to hear your opinion as to how it sounds compared to maybe GF-777 or its siblings. I've been wanting to get me one of those for a long time now!
So stop doing whatever you're doing, go home and test it for Ira and myself! :-D

Hi Tim-Not yet-$ has been really tight right now! I'm waiting to buy a grail at the beginning of Nov. and then by December I should be able to bring it in for the tape deck to get fixed.Damn-I'm hoping to get 1 antenna by that time!
It's looking good(the M-90) but the tape deck should be fixed by Christmas-might need to bring it to Nashville.Maybe Bobby knows of a place of maybe on of our members here wants to work on it!

i dont think He got it from fuzzy ben,fuzzy's ebay name is sharp9000..but that abi guy is familia to me,he is defo a collector..

Well done Rimmer! I love my GF9000, it's my current regular carry-to-work blaster.

I found some sound dampening stuff in the box made the world of difference to the sound of mine as it was rife with rattles, vibrations and had a very hollow sound. Now she cranks great and has quite a bit a bass.

Mines one of my most beat up radios, cosmetically, .. wouldn't mind picking up another one I reckon.

Ok guys i have had a good play with my gf9000 compared to my last one its much better crisp highs instead of periceing sharp dull highs,

I dont think its fair to compare the 9000 to the 777 primerily because the 9000 has only 1 ha amp and the 777 has 2 plus the 9000 has 8 inch speakers and the 777 has 6.5inch based on sound alone i would rather the 777 but on looks the 9000 is killer and i think youll find its built much better than anything made by lasonic.3ird time lucky for me

If you can get a 9000 i recomend it as long as people dont go paying daft prices for it £200 plus is just to much coin.

third time lucky for me as this one has a much better sound than my last two, just dont go expecting thumping bass from those 8 inch woofers.

There's a nice one for sale near me - but the seller wants top dollar - 180 pounds!

Really depends how much you want to love one.

I plan on getting another one mainly because I do LOVE the design and the features.

Always check to make sure the meters have the RED in them still. If the highest points of the VU's are white then it's seen some sun. This usually comes with a yellowed case back too.

If you've got the bux and you're in love with the 9000, then I don't think it's too much.

But it really depends on how much you want one.
