I already have a GE 3-5259A Blockbuster and I love it but I broke a hairspring on the right vu meter while trying to adjust it. There are no vu meters out there that I could find so I was looking for a parts box but found this beauty instead. Looks better than the one I currently have and it popped up on eBay while I was scrounging for parts and it had a great buy me now price. My wife is mad, I am happy and there is no way in h-e-double hockey sticks am I going near the meters. Not parting out either box ever and I will get the newly acquired box running again and keep the lesser one for parts if necessary but I’m still gonna try to fix the vu meter somehow. Doing the happy dance!5D8BF4AB-BAC5-4A7B-96B8-1515CF6C4C0E.jpeg

Uh yeah, most old timers here have 2, 3 or more of the same box precisely as you have done and many for similar reasons.

I ain’t “old” - I’m “old school!” and screw it, I’m gonna crank both boxes and do some proper Block Busting. This old timer was a break dancer and don’t make me spin on my hand to prove it -lol

and…I’m fixing my meter myself with a “transplanted“ hair spring as we speak. Now drop some beats on that! JK
